Harris Scarfe / H&M
Tasmanian Hitec Painting worked with Hutchinson Builders to transform the old Harris Scarfe building in the Hobart CBD in time for the grand unveiling of the new H&M Store.
A large project, there were unique challenges including liaising with builder and other trades in a busy worksite, particularly for the internal works. As Tasmanian Hitec Painting are a finishing trade there is always a need to rectify damage created by works and pressure to work within ever tightening time frames.
On the exterior of this beautiful building, Tasmanian Hitec Painting used 3-4 coats of peel away paint stripper to removed a number of layers of lead based paint and expose the original brick face. Adhering to strict safety guidelines for lead paint removal was a priority for the team on this project. A great project, the finished results are well worth the effort.
